Search within the messages tab would be extremely helpful. Our staff will typically have dozens of conversations open at any given time, and being able to find the right conversation within the messages tab will be important to them.

Thanks for the feature request.
We have a rather large roadmap for messaging that includes tags, search, reporting etc., so we've a number of things to work on.
With the release of the new Team Inbox we do expect the ability to search to become more important, as customers may have many open conversations.
Our first search capability will probably be limited to name, phone number, and conversation name.
As we do not yet store actual message content in Spoke (it currently resides on Twilio only), the actual message content is currently not able to be searched. We will be rectifying this on the roadmap.
