Effects: Users who are logged into both the Spoke Phone Mobile and Desktop apps
What Happens:
You're on a call on say the mobile app
Your Spoke Phone desktop app opens in "Remote Control" mode.
You hang up the call on your mobile
Some time later on you go to the desktop app and it looks like it is still on a call in "Remote Control" mode
Its not actually on a call, it just has not come out of Remote Control mode
This can also occur in reverse, from desktop to mobile.
What's actually happening:
The stale remote control call screen may occur when the app that is in the "Remote Control" mode, loses connection to the internet before you end the call on the other app
This can happen when your computer goes to sleep, the internet drops, etc. Basically you are happily talking on one device, and the other device goes offline.
The problem is that the app that was in remote control mode, never gets the signal that the call has ended.
The solution: We've implemented a check when your phone/computer comes back to life, that auto-closes the remote control call screen if the call is already ended
